Now that we’ve got that out of system, it’s time to ask ourselves the more important question: will Dead Rising 3 players choose to do their zombie slaughtering in an enormous cartoon shark costume, or dressed up as Mega Man?...

After the current season of Dead to Me ended with a major cliffhanger, many viewers are eagerly counting down to Season 3. Netflix has not yet renewed Dead to Me for another season. But with the show topping global charts, it seems likely that viewers will get at least one more set of episodes. And with both seasons so far airing in May, it seems likely that Dead to Me will return for Season 3 in Spring 2021—assuming that the current production shutdowns due to coronavirus do not lead to a huge delay to the start of filming....

The legislation was proposed last month and serves as an attempt to promote inclusivity for the deaf community. State Representative Darren Jernigan, a Democrat representing District 60, filed the bill for introduction in the Tennessee General Assembly on January 10. It was recommended to pass in the House Health Subcommittee earlier this week. The legislation has also been introduced in the state Senate by Republican Becky Massey. The bill “replaces the phrase ‘deaf and dumb’ with ‘deaf or hard of hearing’ wherever it may appear in Tennessee Code Annotated,” according to a summary provided for the legislation....

Contrast is an extremely divisive game. On one hand, it has style, narrative impact and art direction that blow even the best triple-A games right back into the Atari days. Realtime Worlds’ 2007 game Crackdown enjoyed a moderate amount of success and, despite the somewhat disappointing sequel Crackdown 2, fans of the original title were looking forward to the long-rumored announcement of Crackdown 3 at E3 2014. Sure enough, a Crackdown game for the new console generation - once again titled Crackdown - was announced today during Microsoft’s E3 2014 Xbox press conference, accompanied by the teaser trailer above....

While they have been prevalent in the industry for years, it was not until recently that they truly reached critical mass, spreading (fittingly) to such a degree that many have become downright fatigued with the genre. In order to succeed in a crowded marketplace, video game zombies these days need to find some way to shamble out in front of the competition....

Frank West isn’t the only thing being resurrected from the original Dead Rising, as the photography gimmick mechanic will make its return as well. Taking pictures of death and gore will be much easier with a partner to watch your back. It will be interesting to see if the mechanic will have changed at all, or if they have left it alone. It was an odd design decision in the first game, but they have decided to reintroduce the feature after consciously not putting a camera in Dead Rising 2....
