That chase was put on hold again on Saturday when Simona Halep routed Serena Williams in the Wimbledon final in 56 minutes winning 6-2, 6-2. In so doing, Halep improved her record to 9-2 in favor of Williams and became Romania’s first ever Wimbledon singles champion. Of course, when it became official, celebrities and fans both went to Twitter to react to the final match — not only congratulate Halep, but also to express the disbelief in which she beat Williams....

As it enters its 30th season this year, we’re expecting even more pizazz. Some took to social media last night to bemoan host Tyra Banks’ several costume changes throughout the opening episode, with one Twitter user writing: “Is there any fan of the show that cares about Tyra’s costume changes?” What we’re most excited for though, is the amazing outfits the celebrities and their dance partners will be wearing as they take to the floor....

If Bergeron’s own Twitter post is anything to go by, it was not his decision to leave the long-running ABC show. He wrote: “Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me. So, of course, in his new HBO special, David Byrne’s American Utopia, airing on the channel on October 17 at 8 p.m. ET and then coming to HBO Max, the 68-year-old performer is clad in another natty suit. A grey one this time. However, what makes his new special visually compelling is that all of his band and dancers are also in identical suits. This suits (pun intended) the theme of the show, with also sees all of his band “untethered” from wires and risers, making everyone equal within the hierarchy of the show....

Stuart McKenzie, of Queensland-based Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers, was tasked with catching the small red-bellied black snake “on the move” inside a business building, but said he found it showing “zero signs of life” and “not breathing.” When the snake catcher arrived, a large container had been placed over the snake, which was lying upside down, with the edge on the snake’s “completely squashed” head. Believing that the snake was dead, McKenzie took the venomous snake home and was walking around with it in his hands, before placing it on the table to show his wife....

Now people will once again be talking about the Dead Island trailer for having received an advertising award from the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity....

The new protagonist of Dead Rising 3 takes center stage in the new cinematic trailer from Gamescom 2013, produced in collaboration with famed cinematic-trailer-producer Blur Studio....

To provide some background on Blur Studio, its a company that specializes in putting together some of the best CGI trailers that have been seen throughout the game industry. The studio’s past work includes the cinematic trailers for Dishonored, Injustice: Gods Among Us, and Bioshock: Infinite, so it’s not surprising in the least to hear that they’ve created a trailer for Dead Rising 3....
