The ‘Titan Mine" map was the only environment available when I jumped into the beta. It gives the Humans the challenge of trying to find components for a shock mine that are spread throughout the map. Once found, the Human team needs to combine the pieces together in order to blow up an escape door. The map has several confining hallways for cornering enemies and plenty of raised platforms for the Necromorphs to plan their attacks....

It appeared to be a glitch and not necessarily an intentional scenario, so gamers began farming those precious gun-crafting resources as fast as they could. Many labels have been placed upon Curiosity - What’s Inside the Cube, the debut mobile game from former Lionhead chief Peter Molyneux and his new studio, 22Cans. Originally planned for a Summer launch, Curiosity’s complexity - and downright strangeness - slowed the Apple certification process to snail’s pace. Some speculated that it would never release at all, the only real curiosity being what all the fuss was ever about....

DC Universe Online will be the first MMO for the PS3 and will be the first online game based in the DC Universe too. The game will cost $59.99 on the PS3 and $49.99 for the PC. Both versions will come with one 30-day game membership. Memberships will cost $14.99 a month thereafter. PC players, however, will have the option of purchasing Sony Online Entertainment’s all-in-one Station Access subscription for $199....

As a result, it’s no surprise to hear that not only is a film adaptation on the way (who could resist the rich Dead Island story and stable of complex characters?[sarcasm]), it sounds as though Techland and developer Deep Silver are already preparing for a potential sequel to the title. According to a report from Siliconera, Techland (the game’s Poland-based publisher) has already filed a U.S. trademark for the title, Dead World....

Capcom has just released the launch trailer for Dead Rising 2, and to be blunt, it’s awesome. The trailers manages to set up the plot for the game even more than Dead Rising: Case Zero. The trailer reveals that Chuck is being blamed for the zombie outbreak in Fortune city and he has to prove his innocence on top of keeping his daughter alive with daily injections of the medicine Zombrex, as he did in Case Zero....

Also on sale is the Collector’s Edition of the game, which has had it’s price cut 25% to $59.99. That places its price at the same as the standard edition’s price on a normal day. Dead Space 2 has been making headlines ever since release. On the day of launch Dead Space 2: Severed was announced as the first official DLC for the game. The expansion will add two additional chapters which focus on Gabriel Weller and Lexine Murdoch of Dead Space Extraction fame (well, as famous as Dead Space Extraction gets, anyway)....

The end result is a game that showcases Four Lights’ understanding of the genre’s mechanics, and how to alter them in order to squeeze out every last drop of white knuckle fun. That being said, the game’s unforgiving design, coupled with the lack of an online community has the potential to leave some players feeling frustrated - and perhaps a little short-changed by the overall experience. The single player offerings do their best to acclimate the player to the game’s unique blend of strategy and speed, with the title reflecting the bare-bones “narrative” the game is based on: aliens are invading and threatening the very fabric of time, and it’s up to the player to stop them (that’s about it)....

Since then, the 23XI driver has been sidelined as he recovers from the “conclusion like-symptom.” The upcoming event will mark Busch’s fourth race off the track after he announced that he’s still not cleared to race. His boss Denny Hamlin and the entire 23XI Racing team have shown their support and concern for his health.
