All of this commotion over a potential Dead Rising 3 game began when the official Facebook page for the aforementioned property posted a quote that allegedly came from none other than West himself. The quote asks fans what Frank should pack for a “break in paradise,” which teases a possible tropical locale for the next game in the series. Maybe Frank West is getting ready to make a cameo in some future Dead Island DLC, but I’d place my money on Dead Rising 3.
Capcom must be preparing to unveil the game in the near future if they’re already teasing it this early. Maybe there’s a chance that DR3 could be revealed at Spike’s VGAs later this week — although you shouldn’t hold your breath for a reveal that soon. The promise of a tropical location for the next game means that player will get a nice change of scenery, and we can only imagine the the hilarity that would come from a zombie hanging ten on a surfboard… or being impaled by one.
