I’m speaking of course about none other than Darksiders 2, which was first confirmed by THQ’s VP of core games, Danny Bilson, during last year’s E3.
It seems like this is the year that THQ will finally be pulling the curtain back on Darksiders 2, and this news comes straight from the Twitter feed of the previously mentioned Danny Bilson. Bilson didn’t reveal too much in terms of details, but he stated that more news on the long-awaited sequel would be coming “very soon”.
There’s really only one event coming up “very soon” that could reveal a game in a “big way,” so all signs seem to point to Darksiders 2 info being spilled at this year’s E3. Of course, we still aren’t sure what Bilson means when he said Darksiders 2 news will be coming in “a few big ways,” so maybe THQ has planned a partial reveal prior to E3 - and then a larger one at the actual event.
We already know that the sequel will throw gamers into the apocalyptic boots of a new protagonist, and take place simultaneously with the original. Other than that, we really don’t know what to expect from the new game, but fans of the original Darksiders will surely not be disappointed.
Are you pumped for Darksiders 2? What are you hoping to see in the sequel?
